6.    Program and build with LEGO robots – Wednesday 6 April & Friday 8 April

If you love LEGO and want to expand your ability, and build your very own Robot try out this great session!

You will not only learn how to build robots using LEGO MINDSTORMS, but you will also learn how to code them using an easy-to-use graphical environment. Coding made fun! Suitable for beginners that have not taken this workshop before.

This workshop is perfect for young inventors aged 9-13 yrs.

7.    The Smeds and The Smoos – Friday 8 to Saturday 9 April

Are you ready for an adventure out of this world?

Soar into space with this exciting adaptation of the award-winning book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler. Be ready to laugh and enjoy these interplanetary adventures as they are brought to the stage for your enjoyment by Tall Stories. Just sit back and enjoy!

8.    Love the Forest Bugs – Monday 11 April

We’re all doing our best to keep the forest healthy, and look after the ecosystem, now is your chance to join in and help out.

If you want to get involved – this is your chance to help the forest by making insect houses and feeders, to help our insects as the weather begins to warm up. Learn more about bugs in this fun session taking place in Hainault Forest.

 9.    Easter family fun and activities in Wanstead – Friday 15 and Saturday 16 April

Easter wouldn’t be complete without an Easter Egg Hunt, and the Easter Bunny has been leaving clues for you to follow to make this hunt all the more exciting. Join us on this special hunt and follow the clues that the busy bunny has left – and maybe you’ll be lucky enough to get a prize!

There will also be face painting and giant garden games for everyone to try.

 10. Easter Crafts at the Forest – Sunday 17 April

Are you ready for Easter? Come along to this great Easter-Nature themed craft session in Hainault Forest to create some of your very own nature themed crafts! Decorate eggs, make Easter bonnets and even reuse your old plastic bottles to make Easter bunny plant pots!

This event is suitable for children 4-11yrs, and must be supervised by an adult.

Don’t forget to bring a large plastic bottle with you, to make your plant pot!

Join us for our new weekly preschool Forest School in Hainault Forest.

Stay and play with your little one as they explore and discover the woods. Join in with child led wild play with activities such as a mud kitchen, hammocks to swing in, dens to build and natural arts and craft activities.
