Thanks to the Frenford Falcons thriving wheelchair basketball club, people of all ages and ability have been able to take part in sport. One player seeing particular success with the group is 18 year old Harry Blyth who suffers from spina bifda (affecting the nerves in his legs). With the help of the teams coach, Andy Dear – who formally played for Italy’s number one club, and also suffers from the same condition – Harry is now reconsidering his future and incorporating sport into his everyday life.
Come on down and take part in our wheelchair basketball club! Even if you don’t have a disability you can come on down and give the sport a go!
