Get your creativity flowing and grab yourself some pens and pencils, it’s time to celebrate ‘The Big Draw’ again! Running across more than fifteen countries and with over 200,000 people talking part The Big Draw is set to be another big success!
Since the events launch in 2000, more and more people have been encouraged to draw and to find a new found enthusiasm for art. In support of the Campaign for Drawing, the Big Draw events illustrate the power of drawing to help people see, think, invent and take action.
Join thousands of people taking part in new and exciting drawing activities and connect with people from all walks of life. Come on down to Fullwell Cross Library, 140 High street, Barkingside IG6 2EA and get scribbling! In celebration of both the Family Learning Festival and The Big Draw we will be creating a giant comic strip with the help of best-selling author and cartoonist James Parsons. Go on, drop in and be part of the communal explosions of drawing and creativity!
Artistic ability doesn’t matter; this event is for those who love to draw as well as those who think they can’t. Draw, sketch, doodle or scribble – whatever you feel like – just come along, pick up some tips and most of all, have some fun!
This event is for all ages and is a great for families. There is no fee and the drawing will take place on Saturday 19 October between 12 noon – 3 pm.
